SEARS CHRISTMAS WISHBOOK 1978

Here's my newest BLAST FROM THE PAST,
The 1978 Sears Christmas Wish Book
featuring the entire video and electronic
games section.

Sorry this isn't in color. I came across the
book on Ebay right after the bidding ended.
Fortunately the nice lady selling it photocopied
the pages for me.

Now what's so special about this book you may ask ?
If you scroll down to Page 5, look at the bottom left
corner for the stand alone game TANK. AHHHHH - I SEE WHAT
YOU MEAN JOHN ! For years I asked people if they ever heard
of this console and everyone thought I was out of my mind
(what else is new?) but I know I saw the ad. At the bottom
of the ad is the note: PENDING FCC APPROVAL. I'm guessing this
system was built around the "Tank-on-a-chip" which was in the
Coleco COMBAT console. So far I still have no info on the
Atari system. Does anyone know about it ? Is there a prototype ?
I'd love to know the answers if someone has them.
